Apple, No longer a Computer Company was created by D Jones
According to Apple's most recent numbers, 53% of the company's revenues come from the iPhone. .. Clearly Apple is no longer a computer company but a phone company.

Interesting to see how the 4 year old phone business at Apple has become its largest revenue generator.

I agree, I think smart phones, tablets and computers are part of one continuum!

However you look at it, Apple is a breeze of fresh air in this relatively dull industry. They come up with new ideas, they make things look ergonomic and fun and most importantly their nice and easy to use products attract non IT execs to start getting mre involved and using some more IT products and services.

By the same token Samsung is becoming a computer industry leader?
I understand the S3 phone is selling very well.

Apple is certainly a compuer company .. they produces PC, software and have their own cloud. They also happen to produce phones that share some great features with their computers.

I am sure no one can compare Apple with Nokia although they both make phones.

Apple is a great computer company .. for sure
