Hi, I just got this new research by IBM's institute of business value .. they are looking at cloud adoption and making some predictions .. all positive of course.

Yes the number of conferences about cloud are on the rise, whether the utilization of the cloud is on the rise at least in the Gulf remains to be seen.

But I do not see any real adoption yet.

This should not surprise anyone, SMEs seems to be faster to understand the value of cloud based applications and are adopting SaaS every day. I think larger enterprises will be the slowest to adopt SaaS but might be more interested in IaaS.

It is probably true but what are you expecting a vendor to say other than the cloud is growing ..

Of course they will say that.
Cloud is on the rise .. what else can they say? We have been talking aout the cloud for 3 years but no one is taking notice?
