How much do top CIOs make?

Hi, I just came across this piece and though many of you would be interested to know how does our pay compare with those CIOs.

It would be great if there is some sort of a salary exchange for the gulf region!

Interesting and is a demonstration of how important the role of the CIO is within enlightened organizations ..

Let us face it, many CIOs in this part of the world aren't really CIOs, just IT Managers and hence can't expect that kind of pay.

Others are true CIOs but aren't being looked at or appreciated accordingly, do not sit at the top table.

That is why we have to keep this community alive.

Let us not go there, this is a painful subject!

Good to know that CIOs simewhere in the world are being appreciated .. CIOs deserve much more than what they are geeting in the Middle East both in stature and in compenation

At the end it is up to us CIOs to change the profile of the CIO role in the Middle East.
