Will Apple Conquer the Enterprise?

No not if Apple maintains its current strategy in terms of pricing. I also agree that Apple does not necessarily offer any advantages to the business user who is mainly running business applications in a browser as well as MS Office ..

Apple does not even have an office in the region to begin with! Apple is becoming a consumer gadget company ..

I can already see how Macbooks, iPhones and iPads are sneaking into the enterprise .. Apple fans want to use their gadgets at work and are increasingly demanding support for those.
So in a way, Apple will become increasingly a familiar sight at the enterprise and Apple will gain more followers with time.
But does this mean my or your company will switch from buying Intel/Windows notebooks to Apple .. I doubt it very much.

Never say never! Five years ago Apple was not even a player in the smart phone market, this week the news is that they are number one (Nokia is no 3) .. I say if Apple with its deep pockets and endless innovation decides to go after the enterprise market they will make it in no time .. and I would love to see Apple fight it out with Microsoft and its tails (HP, Dell etc..).

Can't wait to see that day.

Ultimately I guess the answer is yes, the question is when.

I was thinking that Apple is already entering the enterprise via the iPhone but now it looks like Google Android is slowing Apple down.

And haveing had a good look at Android myself, I now believe that it is going to take over from Blackberry which does not seem to have any news ideas ...
